Dleveral is an online networking platform where you connect with professionals and experts in different fields who are willing to share and gain additional knowledge.

It provides an opportunity to seek mentorship, guidance, advice, from someone who has an experience you desire or has gone through a process you have started or about to start.

Introduction

Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Privacy Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose and make use of Personal Data (as defined below).

Content and data on some of our Services is viewable to non-registered members

As a registered or non-registered member of our Services, the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to this Privacy Policy and other documents referenced in this Privacy Policy, as well as updates.

By accessing any part of the Services, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions described below (this “Privacy Policy”) and the terms and conditions of our terms of service (the “Terms of Service”). If you do not agree to any of these terms, you should not use the Services. This Privacy Policy applies to all users, including both users who are simply viewing content available via the Services and users who have registered as members of Dleveral.

Review or Change of Policy

Dleveral may at its sole discretion modify this Privacy Policy, when we make changes in the way we collect or use information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Services or sending you an email before they become effective. By accessing the Services at any time after such modifications, you are agreeing to be bound by the updated policy.

You acknowledge that your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to this Privacy Policy means that the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to the updated Privacy Policy, as of its effective date.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

When you register on our platform and become a Dleveral user, we will ask you for Personal Data. “Personal Data” refers to information about you that can be used to contact or individually identify you. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, biography, bank account for making payment, and other information that could help our clients make a decision to choose you as a mentor or coach but does not include your pin number, BVN or other billing information. Transactions on Dleveral involving your billing and payment information are processed by ‘Flutterwave’ and are subject to their privacy policies. We do not store any of the credit card or banking information that you provide to these payment processors.

To create an account you need to provide data including your name, email address and/or mobile number, and a password. We use your email/phone number to send you information, updates, contents, additional services etc. We will not give your name, email, or other Personal Data to unaffiliated third parties except with your consent or as otherwise set forth in this privacy policy. Though we may need to disclose Personal Data when required by law or when we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process that we receive or to protect our interests or the safety of others. In addition, we may provide Personal Data to employees, consultants or other business or persons for the purpose of processing such information on our behalf. In such circumstances, we require that these parties agree to protect the confidentiality of such information and to comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy. We may use your Personal Data to operate, improve, understand and personalize our Services. We will contact you through email, mobile phone, notices posted on our websites, messages to your Dleveral inbox, and other ways through our Services, including text messages and push notifications.

 

Profile

You have choices about the information you provide on your profile, such as your education, work experience, skills, photo, and cover image. Your profile information helps you to get more from our Services, and other Dleveral members or non-members who likes to connect with you. Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be publicly available.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

 

Content, Comments, and articles

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

You and others may post content that includes information about you (either as a content in articles, posts, comments, videos) on our Services.

 

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

 

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Connection

Our Services allow you to collaborate with colleagues, search for potential clients, customers, partners and others to do business with. Our Services allow you to communicate with other Members and schedule and prepare meetings with them.

 

Insight Generation

We use your data to produce and share insights that can aid the improvement of service we offer. Such data do not identify you.

 

Who we share your data with

Your profile is visible to all Dleveral members and customers who uses our services. It can also be visible to other non-members (visitors to our service or users of third-party search engines).

Our Services allow viewing and sharing information including through posts, likes, and comments.

 

Our Service providers

We have partners who provide our services such as maintenance, analysis, audit, payments, marketing and administration. They will have access to your information to perform their jobs on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.

 

How long we retain your data

We retain your personal data as long as you keep your account open or as needed to provide you Services. This includes data you or others provided to us and data generated or inferred from your use of our Services.

 

Account closure

If you choose to close your Dleveral account, your personal data will generally stop being visible to other members within 24 hours. We generally delete closed account information within 30 days of account closure, except as noted below.

We retain your personal data even after you have closed your account if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including law enforcement requests), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our User Agreement, or fulfill your request to “unsubscribe” from further messages from us. We will retain de-personalized information after your account has been closed.

Information you have shared with others will remain visible after you close your account or delete the information from your own profile or mailbox, and we do not control data that other Members have copied out of our Services. Your profile may continue to be displayed in the services of others (e.g., search engine results) until they refresh their cache.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

 

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
